Bello Vino is an exclusive and unprecedented Italian Wine experience event in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Organized by the passionate team at With Love From Italy, supported by Berjaya University College, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (ITALCHAM) and Hank’s Fine Foods, the event will offer visitors a unique and unforgettable wine journey.

Here we discuss a few of the Italian wineries that will be partners at Bello Vino.

Cantina Tollo Winery

Cantina Tollo
Cantina Tollo is a high-quality winery from Abruzzo, Italy. Founded in 1960 and is one of the largest wineries in the Abruzzo region of Italy. They produce a wide variety of wines, including Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Fonte Forte Rosso & Bianco Terre di Chieti and Pietrame.

They have won numerous awards both in Italy and internationally, its production encapsulates the flavours from the coasts to the mountains of Abruzzo, Italy.

Cantine Sant’ Agata
Cantine Sant’ Agata is a family-owned winery from Piedmont, Italy. Founded in 1965 by Franco Cavallero, the winery is known for its high-quality wines, made from grapes grown in the vineyards of Monferrato, Northern Italy.

The winery produces a wide range of wines, for example Ruchè and Monferrato Nebbiolo among the many. Cantine Sant’ Agata is well known for their Ruchè grape variety. Ruchè is a native grape of Piedmont that is known for its unique aromas of red fruits, berries, and spices.

Castello Romitorio Winery

Castello Romitorio
Castello Romitorio is an Italian winery located in the heart of Montalcino, Tuscany founded in 1984 by the artist Sandro Chia, who planted the first vineyards using ancient Sangiovese varietals local to Montalcino. The winery’s vineyards are located at some of the highest altitudes in Montalcino, which gives the wines their distinctive elegance and complexity.

Romitorio is committed to the study and exploration of Brunello di Montalcino DOCG, one of Italy’s most prestigious wines. They are known for their intense aromas of red fruit, spice, and tobacco. On the palate, they are full-bodied and well-structured, with a long, lingering finish.

Coppi
Coppi is a family-owned winery located in hearts of Apulia, Italy. Founded more than a hundred years ago by Antonio Coppi, whom was a passionate winemaker and could say to be a pioneer in the use of modern winemaking techniques.

Coppi wines are made from a variety of local grape varieties, including Primitivo, Negroamaro, Falanghina, and Aleatico. The wines are known for their intense flavors and their ability to age gracefully.

Guerra Albano Winery

Guerra Albano
Guerra Albano is located in the heart of the Colli Orientali, a step away from Cividale del Friuli, rows of vines extend for 10 hectares. Guerra Albano knows every secret of it, and selects only the best bunches by hand to give life to surprising DOC wines.

The area of the Friul Colli Orientali is particularly suited to the cultivation of the great classics of the regional tradition, as the Friulano, Malvasia, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit and Refosco, known and appreciated even abroad for their unique and intriguing bouquet.

I Balzini
I Balzini was born thanks to the founder Vincenzo D’Isanto’s love for wine and his determination to create a unique product, characterized by personality and elegance. The estate’s first vineyard was planted in 1980 and trusted into the care of Giulio Gambelli, the master taster behind some of Tuscany’s most prestigious wines.

Since 2017, I Balzini is in the capable hands of his daughter Diana. Her approach combines the winery’s traditional search for excellence with an environmentally-sound approach stressing on sustainability and organic farming.

Mastrojanni Winery

Mastrojanni
Mastrojanni has been writing history with its wines since 1975, collecting awards from all over the world. And in those years, only a few entered the wine-making adventure in Montalcino.

Today, thanks to an exceptional terroir and men who have believed in it for decades, Mastrojanni has become one of the most respected Montalcino producers as far as wine buffs are concerned.
